Admission Process Step-by-Step

Follow these clear stages for smooth, hassle-free admission into Sacred Heart Convent School.

Phase 1: Research

Academic Year & Initial Enquiry

The academic year begins in March and ends in February. Parents obtain the school prospectus, review curriculum offerings, and visit the campus or website to understand our educational philosophy.

Phase 2: Application

Registration Form Submission

Registration is open to all irrespective of class, creed, or race. Complete the registration form with utmost accuracy, as no subsequent changes will be permitted for any reason whatsoever.

Phase 3: Documentation

Documents & Entrance Test

Submit the attested birth certificate (from Municipality/Hospital) and a bona fide certificate or school leaving certificate from the previous school. Students seeking admission to classes other than Nursery must appear for an entrance test and interview.

Phase 4: Evaluation

Assessment & Interaction

The Principal reserves the right to assess the student's knowledge to determine the most suitable standard. This is followed by an informal interview. (Note: Nursery admission requires the child to be 3.5 years of age).

Phase 5: Enrolment

Final Confirmation & Fee Deposit

Admission is strictly subject to seat availability and Principal's discretion. Complete the process by depositing fees within the stipulated time. Failure to do so will result in cancellation within 3 days. Fee once paid is non-refundable.

Documentation & Eligibility

Admission to Nursery requires the child to be 3.5 years of age.
A duly attested Birth Certificate from Municipality/Hospital must be produced at the time of admission. False certificates will result in immediate barment.
The Date of Birth registered cannot be altered on any account.
No student (except Nursery) will be admitted without a prior test and interview.

School Discretion & Seats

Registration does not guarantee admission; it only entitles the child to appear for the entrance test.
The Principal reserves the right to refuse admission if a student is deemed unable to cope with the syllabus, has poor health, or delinquent character.
Due to limited seats, the school cannot guarantee admission for siblings of current students.
If applicants exceed seats, admission may be granted via a system of drawing lots. The registration fee is non-refundable in such cases.

Important: The admission procedure is only complete after submitting all necessary documents and depositing the fees within the stipulated time. Failing to do so will result in the cancellation of admission within 3 days, and the seat will be allotted to the next child on the waiting list. Fee once paid will not be refundable.
